BuildShield AI provides an AI-assisted platform for generating OSHA compliance safety documents for US construction contractors. Our platform produces template-based documents incorporating federal OSHA (29 CFR) and applicable state-plan regulations as a reference aid. Documents generated by BuildShield AI are intended as a starting point and educational resource. They do not constitute legal advice, and BuildShield AI is not a law firm.

THE DOCUMENTS AND CONTENT PROVIDED BY BuildShield AI DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL, REGULATORY, OR PROFESSIONAL SAFETY ADVICE. All generated documents should be reviewed by a qualified safety professional, attorney, or competent person before implementation on any job site. OSHA regulations are subject to change. BuildShield AI makes reasonable efforts to maintain current regulatory citations but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current regulatory requirements at any given time.

By using BuildShield AI, you agree that: ?You are responsible for ensuring all safety programs implemented at your workplace comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. ?You will have all generated documents reviewed and approved by a qualified competent person before use. ?You will not rely solely on BuildShield AI documents without independent verification of compliance requirements. ?You are responsible for filling in all site-specific information marked as [TO BE COMPLETED BY COMPETENT PERSON].

One-time document purchases are non-refundable once the document has been generated and made available for download. If you experience a technical issue preventing document access, contact us at support@BuildShield AI within 7 days. Pro Plan subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time.

The BuildShield AI platform, its technology, design, and template architecture are proprietary. Documents you generate using our platform and purchase are licensed to you for internal business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense generated documents. OSHA regulatory text and federal law citations are public domain. Our compilation, arrangement, and integration of such text within our template system is proprietary.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BuildShield AI, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING OSHA FINES, PENALTIES, LOST PROFITS, OR WORKPLACE INCIDENTS ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICE. Our total aggregate liability to you for direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the document or subscription in the three months preceding the claim.

We collect and process company information, form data, and contact details to generate your compliance documents. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details. Document content is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of BuildShield AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
